About our members:


Katelyn Simon (oboe) is in demand as a freelancer and performs regularly with orchestras throughout the greater Chicago and Michiana areas. She holds an M.M. from Northwestern University.  Visit bio page here.


Daniel Cavalancia, Jr. (clarinet) earned his B.M. from Baldwin-Wallace College and his M.M. and D.M.A. from Michigan State University.  An accomplished performer, he has appeared at the Vianden Music Festival in Luxembourg and his expertise includes contemporary music for clarinet and electronic music.


Robert Simon (bassoon) is Music Librarian at the University of Notre Dame, and a musicologist specializing in music of the early twentieth century.  He holds degrees from Baldwin-Wallace College, Ohio University, and Dominican University.  As a bassoonist he has performed with regional orchestras across Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois.
